2011-02-04: The Swedish Institute chose Lumina as Sweden's representative on the International Innovation Tour

The Swedish Institute (SI) has completed their selection of Sweden's 20 most promising innovations and Lumina has been selected to represent Sweden on the coming International Innovation Tour. The opening of the tour will take place in Silicon Valley this autumn and will then continue around the globe. For more information, please refer to the press release (in Swedish only).

2010-10-22: Lumina closes investment round

Lumina Adhesives is proud to announce that a new investment round is successfully closed. “With this substantial capital injection we will start large-scale manufacturing required for a number of client products. Parts of the money will also be spent in adapting the technology for new industrial applications.” says Managing Director Mr. Bo Hallengren.

2010-03-30: Lumina receives funding from Vinnova

Lumina Adhesives has been granted funding from Vinnova's program Forska&Väx for research project together with Swerea IVF. The funding will be used for technical and market studies of industrial concepts for Lumina's light switchable adhesive technology - Adhelight.

2009-08-10: Evaluation project with SWEREA IVF

Lumina Adhesives has together with SWEREA IVF started an evaluation project to assess the potential and need for Adhelight in non-medical applications.

SWEREA IVF is a research institue that provides advanced research and consultancy services in the manufacturing industry to quickly bring new technologies into practical application.

The project is sponsored by VINNOVA and is a part of Forska&Väx 2009.

Lumina Adhesives are honored to have been invited to present its technology at FEICA - the only Adhesives & Sealants Conference in Europe.
